Smoking: It has been brought to my attention that cigarette ashes are frequently dumped outside in the common area. City Walk is a smoke free community and smoking outside in the common area is strictly prohibited.

Noise:  As most residents are spending more time at home it is requested that everyone be more cognizant of the sound that travels from unit to unit. This includes music, talking on patios or in courtyards and other noise that may bother other residents. We understand these are trying times but we will get through this together!

 Face Covering: As of May 1, 2020, it is now mandatory to wear a face covering in public.

Social Distances: Residents are encouraged to practice social distancing within the community. For example, when waiting for the elevator, try to put 6 feet between yourself and anyone exiting the elevator. Residents are encouraged to allow one household per elevator ride.

Gym Closure: The City Walk gym will remain closed for the time being. The Board will be closely monitoring the recommendations of government officials and the health department. The decisions made thus far are in compliance with executive orders as well as other Action-managed downtown properties. We will continue to keep the residents of City Walk updated of any changes.

Plumbing: There has been an increase in the number of backups in the building. Please refrain from placing food in the disposal. Please refrain from flushing anything other than toilet paper.

Pets and Ticks: Management was notified by an Owner that a tick was found on their pet. If you discover ticks on your pet, email a photo of the tick to the Count of San Diego Vector Control Program.

Bike Storage: Please consider using a heavy duty U lock when storing your bike.


  • Please do not grant access to anyone that you do not know.
  • Please make sure the door is closed and secured when entering and exiting the premises.
  • Stop, look and listen when entering the garage.
